    I inherited this watch from my grandad; it was his dad’s watch he was gifted for 10 years service at “Acrow” in 1983 (it is engraved on the back to this affect). I recently had this serviced and hope to get many years from it.  You can see the movement in the photo below. The watch smith told me this is a very well-built and top-quality bit of watchmaking here, comparable to a vintage Omega. Do any of you have any thoughts/knowledge about this watch. I know it is 9 karat gold case and keeps +3 seconds per day with beat error 0.1 (face down). I will treasure this watch for my whole life and gift to my children. I recently put it on a new black leather strap, which has given it a new lease of life.

    As vintage watches go, this is in great shape externally. Your movement pic does seem to show a few places where there might be markings for a manufacturer, but the contrast makes it difficult to clearly make them out.
