Not sure scam is the appropriate word here. That being said, I have a limited edition skeleton Croft that I never use because it’s got an insane amount of glare/reflectiveness. Looks like a damn mirror outside or really anywhere with enough lighting. Wonder if they’ve improved the AR on newer watches.

I bought one, and I didn’t have any issues with it. They sent me the email as soon as it hit 5:55. Maybe your email filtered it as spam?

Good thing I didn’t pursue it then. I initially wanted to get one, but one of my grails suddenly came up for a good deal and I changed plans.

But it sucks that the promised prioritize acces didn’t work. Maybe they weren’t prepared for the demand and couldn’t handle it?

The mail popped up for a millisecond, the moment I opened it it disappeared. Not in spam, nowhere. Fuck me… and of course sold out when it went live at 12:07 or something

I actually was up and ready to receive pre access email link, which came right on time. The watches were sold out before three min. My issue with how Spinnaker handled this is that up until 5:55 AM today there was never a full image of watch on their site. Nor did I know there would be two colors to choose from. So at 5:55 when I clicked the link to the site I took two min to look at the images from the two colors. Picked the grey but by that point 5:57 AM it was sold out, then tried to get black and it, too, was sold out (5:58 AM). Had the actual watch page been available prior to 5:55 AM today I could have made up my mind prior to today and did a mad dash straight for check out instead of spending two min looking at the two color options. Now they have an official sold out page thanking everyone for overwhelming support and they may bring it back next Halloween (or something similar). Sigh.
