Strongly considering picking up a Radiomir 1940 PAM 574 as my next watch. Is there a reason why Panerai discontinued this model line or a reason not to consider it?

It feels like a 42mm watch with 100m water resistance in the 1940s case style with the p1000 in house movement would appeal to a pretty broad range of consumers. I’m mostly confused as to why there isn’t a similar current offering.

    Panerai has been all over the place during the last 5 years. They decided to focus more on the due range. The 574 is a watch I owned for a short time and if you can get the right price, it’s definitely a great option. Amazing slim piece that has the panerai design.
