Anyone that has an Orient Bambino of any version knows the straps aren’t the best. I have been experimenting with certain straps to change up the look of this beautiful watch, from a green leather to match the earthy tones, to a blue leather to match the hands. Both were improvements, but not enough to make me wear this watch regularly.

The Bambino is perhaps the first watch I bought because of how much I loved the dial, so it was a shame to have it just sitting in the box collecting dust. Finally, I decided to try a beige canvas, and I have to say it did the trick!

This has now become my everyday casual watch. It no longer has that « dress » asthetic which it had before, but I feel like for me casual wear is a more fitting use case for this watch that I fell in love with.
