    Some interesting thouhts but I would like to point out some things:
    First the title is trash. Not because it is clickbaity but because it implies that the USA is no longer part of the World.

    And then the video leaves out the fact that European national teams play together for many years during the summer. The roster does not change too much and the players know each other very well.

    At last there are some FIBA rules NBA players have to get used to when playing internationally.

    Leaving out the NBA team vs EuroLeague team comparison (because who gives a shit about some arbitrary friendly match) the international European teams have a head start when entering the training camp for a tournament. And to me it would not be too surprising if this deficit ended up in a simpler system. Which has been true for as long as I watch basketball but it mostly works out for team USA because of their massive talent. However, as pointed out in the video in a smaller scale, when you win the championship no one cares how simple your playstyle might be. Only now they didn’t and everyone blames their roster.
