Hey guys, i was just wondering what this type of watch band is called when ig is leather but with a hidden metal clasp, i quite like it but the watch i found it on doesnt have a name for it thanks:)
Seiko strap with deployant clasp.
I think that’s a Seiko Presage
Deployant clasp. Sometimes called deployment.
Looks very similar to the strap from the Tissot Visodate
That watch looks to be a Seiko Presage (one of the cocktail time models) or possibly an Alpinist or similar - I definitely have a similar looking strap in black that I bought for my SARB033.
That type of hidden, fixed buckle would be called a deployant clasp.
There is one type of deployant clasp that puts the extra bit of of the strap on the inside of the when wearing the watch. Those are both more confortable and look cleaner.
I don’t know how they are called, maybe omega style deployant clasp.
