We were cleaning my dad’s basement and he found my grandpas old Omega Seamaster. He had gifted me a Tudor Fast Rider a while back and he suggested we get the Omega running and trade the watches! I’m excited to make this my new daily wearer.
These are great watches! I got mine under similar circumstances (uncle, not granddad in my case) and it’s been on my wrist for the last year.
That’s a Great Watch! I’m wearing my 1966 Seamaster automatic right now
I have roughly the same Seamaster although mine is not a De Ville so it supposedly a euro model. Mines from 1963 so I would say yours is definitely from the 60s.
Looks like a 168.020, though I could be wrong. These generally go for a few hundred, but it’s worth keeping for the memories, especially if you can get it serviced affordably!
