Summary: | The film is about Jann Mardenborough, a Gran Turismo player whose gaming skills won him a series of video game competitions to become an actual professional race car driver. My mother kicked us out of the house for wasting our lives playing video games all the time, explaining why I (and probably most of you) are not rich, NASCAR-type pilots…although in my case, I’d have been a rich and famous mushroom/turtle-jumping plumber. |

At this rate, we’re gonna have a Minesweeper or Spider Solitaire mini-series
Why not? Minesweeper could be like a reboot of this movie. And Spider Solitaire? The sequel to this movie?
Do you forget this piece of cinema for minesweeper comparison? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battleship_(film)
Well, yes!…until you went and reminded me, you dog! 🤣
I can’t be the only one that remembers this

I saw this being released somewhere, and I’ve never heard about this movie before. Such a shame, looks like they haven’t invested in promotion that much as I’d be right within their target audience.
If you see movies in theaters there have been trailers all over for a while now.
It’s definitely been big news for a while in the Gran Turismo community.
Saw this yesterday, felt that it was an ok film overall but was let down by the first half where they tried to cover a lot of different events. After the GT academy is over I felt the movie improved a fair bit. I was surprised at how many of the events in the film were accurate to real life events! I thought the film was exaggerating Jann’s life but seemingly not which I appreciated.
Well, it’s kinda a drag (race) but it’s time to wave the checkered flag on this Megapost! VROOM VROOOOOOOM!!!
This is the actual ending of the movie. I'm not even exaggerating.
(Podiuming Le Mans on the first try is an incredible achievement though.)
