Steam provides a quick launch menu, thats a good enough reason for me.
Technical issues are worth resolving, but I want the UI to remain the same as the windows one. Its a pattern that works just fine.

Does seem worse IMO. There is nothing wrong with the windows tray, should just copy that and call it done.
Hardisks also. Dont store important data, they are due to fail eventually.
I’d be resistant to reuse the power supply. Its long overdue to fail, and if it fails and takes out your brand new stuff, you’ll be a bit unhappy.
While we wait for actual valid suggestions (I’m also in the market for some good hiking poles), in keeping with the low budget options, you could try a hollow metal curtain rod from a hardware store. You can put a rubber foot on it, and it might be a bit lighter than a stick, but still fairly strong.
https://www.bunnings.com.au/pillar-25mm-x-2-0m-black-curtain-rod_p1284013 < that one is 2m long, weighing 600g. Not sure where that fits in relative to your stick. Maybe its still too heavy :/
Hopefully someone has some better suggestions soon.
If a little more heft is okay, and you want to be able to use it as a club, perhaps a staff/large stick would be an answer? Cheap/free, just find one and make sure the ends dont have splinters. Will be sturdy, as long as you keep it dry, will last ages.
Downside is that it won’t be collapsible.
Does seem broken for me.
Their piefed is up: https://piefed.blahaj.zone/
It doesn’t, my point is that this isnt anything new, and your take isnt particularly novel or controversial.
Dead internet theory long predates genAI/LLMs.
If your willing to wait, and can accept some shipping time, there is: https://jlc3dp.com/
They’ll quote you on the site, and will advise for materials and costs.
Link doesn’t match the headline. edit: fixed
Except that these are AIs trained on the CEOs thoughts, so its a bit of a “We trained him wrong, as a joke” situation.
Archery. Relatively cheap sport to get into (no consumable bullets).
As for limited mobility, that depends on what you mean, wheelchair - not a problem, upper body - maybe a problem, depending on the extent. Crossbows can solve the strength part, but if you can’t aim, that will be a bit harder.
Spouting braindead hallucinations
So how do you tell the difference?
Contact the app dev, its their problem.
Actually, (and I wasn’t aware of this until you mentioned it, so thank you), it does support serverless connections:
So I think between cloud server, self hosted server and direct IP, OP should be covered.
RustDesk (rustdesk.com) is open source, and similar to TeamViewer, and has paid plans, including a paid self hosted option.
Not even a threshold, its a much more smooth transition, thats just the best picture I could find.
KSP will definitely help. Chuck your SATs into orbit, and you can see the orbits slowly decay away, almost imperceptibly. Its fun too :)
Yes, but I beleive that is quite a significant amount of energy to reach. Only a few spacecraft have left earths orbit. Fewer still have left the suns orbit.
If they can be hidden, like in Windows, I dont really mind if every app has one. I’ll hide the ones I dont care about.
The app dock isnt visible by default, so thats a partitial solution, but I’d prefer to be able to access it directly without opening a menu or overview first.
