The Murderbot Diaries by Martha Wells. The first book ends kinda flat but it’s the first series in a while to catch my eye and keep me reading. I’m just at the start of the second book as of now.

I’ve seen a lot of talk of casualties on the ground too. Absolute tragedy.

As someone who lives in the south that doesn’t surprise me at all. People in my area are foaming at the mouth mad if you try to give them basic advice like “I don’t recommend you microwave your food in the styrofoam to-go box.” It’s like a thing their family did and to stop would mean their grandpa wasn’t right on something and they would rather chance cancer than that be true.

Most tempted I’ve ever been to use matrix. May catch you on the next one.

Been looking for what they are trying to distract us from seeing. Looks like I found one of the things at least.
