PieFed Meta@piefed.social•How does PieFed improve voting compared to Reddit/Lemmy?English
32·2 days agoDo not display posts with which I have already interacted (opened/upvoted/downvoted)
To stop seeing the content with that setting. it’s faster than opening the post.
Upvote content you like. Downvote content you actively don’t like.

PieFed Meta@piefed.social•Searching for users and posts from a userEnglish
3·4 months agoAnd I’m saying you can encounter the same issue of not finding a post whether you save it or not. If you suggest saving content to reference later, there also needs to be a way to search within those saved posts. Otherwise, it’s essentially the same problem as not being able to find it without having saved it.

PieFed Meta@piefed.social•Searching for users and posts from a userEnglish
21·4 months agoYou would need to be able to search saved posts which would also be useful, but not nearly as much.

Oh, I guess I’ll start using only upvotes to mark posts as read.
Do you have any ideas for improving discovery of niche topics? What about that suggestion about limiting downvotes to subscribers to prevent drive-by downvotes?
