That is scarier to me than the fast zombies.
So this is pretty neat:
Humans aren’t good at running fast, but we are good at running for a long time for long distances, so it’s thought that we would just run after things until they got tired.
So like you know how people in horror movies would run and then look over their shoulder and Jason is somehow still there?

5·8 days agoWe have beans, beef stroganoff, and moths. And people are nicer. I believe that all of this is related.
I only see them as right side up. I can’t even make my brain see them at upside-down. I can’t even see which one is the correct one.
It seems like they might have… ghosted her.

Agreed. Just not worth it.
I’m fortunate in that I’ve tried several things and never really got hooked, but if there was one that could eventually hook me it would be nicotine or opioids.
It certainly does have an effect, albeit much less than hard drugs. I’ve smoked twice. The second time I decided to try a cigarette with a beer to see why people liked it so much. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to never try smoking again.
5·27 days agoI feel like you can tell where the intent is behind it when they bring up a similar situation from their life. It’s not hard to tell if it’s from a helpful place vs them trying to upstage you.
I tend to do this to try to relate and let them know they’re not alone, but lately I’ve just been trying to listen so that I don’t come across the wrong way.
