Some people want their fav player to get top vote so will use their other ones at a position on troll votes and with Butlers trade demand that’s a pretty easy way to get those kind of votes.

There’s been some bad trades the last couple of years but this one was mind blowing in that it should have been clear to everyone it was bad st the time.

There really wasn’t an angle you could sell yourself on it fit wise with what their needs were and what Beal provides. On top of it just being a bad fit he has 1 of the leagues (I believe) only 2 no trade clauses so it was a terrible trade that’s really hard to get out of now.

If they can’t trade Beal you almost start to wonder if they just blow it up and trade KD/Booker to get some picks back given how tough the west is and their current play but not sure Ishbia is willing to do that.

Missing Gordon hurts with how little depth the Nuggets have so it’s possible. Love seeing Jokic vs Wemby either way!

Can’t imagine it’s a lot. He’s probably only going to draw serious interest from contenders that feel he can push them over the top in the next 2 years so you’re mainly getting back picks.

The problem is with him just having a player option the trading team may only be getting a rental or they’re having to do an extension where they’re paying an old butler too much so I wouldn’t put up a ton to trade for him.

Yeah I think when expansion happens is the time they’ll do it if it ever happens. Outside of that I agree the East teams won’t do it.

Edit: Also looks like Murray can’t be traded until the summer due to his extension, same for Gordon so it has to be MPJ pretty much unfortunately.

Playoffs last year it was injury related but this season it’s hard to tell if it’s a lingering issue. He doesn’t have the explosiveness to get separation so he’s taking tougher shots and just not making them.

Really sucks Thunder got a b2b after the cup. The finalists already have to play an extra game, having terrible travel schedule just makes it even worse.

Yeah good point on widening the courts but not sure the logistics of it with the seats they sell there. If it costs even 1 row of lower seats I think the owners would push back.

Think bringing back some form of hand checking would help, another option is widening the courts and pushing out the line but not sure the teams will want to lose that space since that’s the space they sell at the highest price.

Yeah how are you going to try and fake this just to lake it seem like the org is generous. If all you’re going to give is a jersey just do it around that rather then do this fake out on the kid.

Think the best solution is to allow more defense on the perimeter.

Other than that think the only other thing would be moving the line out further which feels like a pretty big shift and there isn’t really a ton of room to do that in the corners.
