I do miss being able to shove issues to the Landlord

Lol nah, I just crosspost .ml (see below) and it’s all done by human hands, I’m just hooked into the RSS feed to deliver notifications to my phone + a good workflow
Why am I cross-posting .ml content?
I cross-post from .ml to the nearest relevant non-.ml comm to reduce the influence of .ml comms and indirectly, the instance as a whole, to help vitilize non-.ml comms and make it an easier decision for other instance admins to defederate because one key reason I identified that admins don’t want to defederate is because .ml still has some very large comms and some active niche comms.

And so so much documentation on clear heavy handed censorship and bias also on the link. So much I can’t even put them all here because this comment would be really long.
I believe the behavior of its admins (the main admins are Lemmy devs) does harm to the overall growth of the Lemmy-verse and maybe even the Thrediverse (since Lemmy kinda kicked off the Thrediverse) because of its association with the devs of Lemmy and their insistence to use .ml as their personal political platform to spread harmful propaganda
On the outside, bringing up Lemmy frequently leads to comments like “Lemmy? Isn’t that the place with a bunch of tankies?” Or “Tried Lemmy, but found it full of pro Russia crap so I left”. The best way forward from that I see is to either widely defederate from .ml like the rest of the Triad, or pressure them to put a fair and unbiased as possible admin team.
It’s actually the opposite, it’s the fastest way to find out if the relationship your building is strong and secure or if your partner is insecure and its foundation is rickety.
The whole “You can’t have guy friends because they’re just trying to sleep with you” is a sexist trope anyways

Can I ask why you stick with Jerboa? Years ago I used it because it was the most functional at the time of the great Reddit migration, but it was so buggy I stopped using Lemmy altogether for like 2 months until Boost came out

Lol I remember the buggy mess that is Jerboa, even now I installed it fresh to login and check the crosspost for you and…it crashed and reopening it works and shows logged in but I can’t do anything because apparently my account is being verified lmao
Jerboa is essentially alpha maybe beta, and dessalines has stated he doesn’t have the time to work on it between Lemmy server and Lemmy UI

Why not just give FF the chrome theme, change the icon to chrome and strip out Edge? (If you can still strip edge out, it was a PITA on 10, I can’t imagine it’s gotten any better on 11l
