In Australia you don’t need the box.
You don’t even need a receipt.
Simply a bank transaction on your phone to show them. They have to match that to their records.
You can choose to go to the manufacturer, or the retailer. They can’t palm you off to each other. You call it. They must act.
Australian people have some of the strongest consumer rights in the world. They just need to use them.
Yeah the mod is an A grade dick. Mods are at times power mad, and this is a case in point. Anyone can see that’s not what you were saying.
I also restic to b2. Found it the best value.
I’ve done a little. Give us you details and requirements. I’m happy to have a look.
Solid release. Simple and usable. Will keep it to see how it progresses. Nice work!
I agree. I’m most productive with 2 x bursts of work. 6 hours is a good amount of time for getting plenty done.
When you can’t tell if a machine made it, and it moves you personally, then what invisible metric are you defining, and judging it on?
No. I watched a video recently of one of the best figure tutors around. Upset with AI. As he critiqued them, multiple times he struggled to tell if it was AI or not. Now, if one of the top YouTube figure drawing instructors struggled at times to identify the difference in his attack against the tech, I’m pretty comfortable saying that it can absolutely move you.
This response assumes an artist wants to be a professional artist, that wants to make a living from it. There are MANY artists, that have no interest of turning their source of joy, into a source of income, and all that comes with it.
I disagree strongly on that argument. I’ve seen many examples of AI generated images that have genuinely made me stop, and shake my head in amazement.
I’m waiting for that new Intel gear.
Whatever makes you feel better. Do what you can. If you know you can make a difference, I feel you should. Giving up IS an option, but, in my mind, not a required one.
And, we can try and avoid them. Or, we can pay trump through them.
There are so many android manufacturers that wouldn’t even spit in trumps direction. The choice is there. It can be taken. Or, we can shrug, find excuses, and just give Trump our money through apple (in this example).
In pretty sure Xiaomi don’t pay Trump. But, you never really know.
What we do really know, is Apple do. Spending with Apple is spending with Trump, guaranteed.
This is more arcadey, but I recommend giving Cave Story a go. The story is rich, the worlds deep. It’s a great game. It’s not the same genre, but for me, it has a similar vibe.
I agree. Definitely.
However, your money actually just went to Trump, via Apple, and their hardware and services.
Remember, when you buy an apple product, you’re directly supporting Trump.

Popcorn munching…
In Australia, warranty periods defined by the manufacturer are taken into account. However, our consumer law states that the warranty should match an expectation, based on factors such as price and expected product life.
For example, my Lenovo Carbon X1 had an issue. It had a 1 year warranty.
I was just over 2 years with the machine. I contacted them for repairs. Lenovo said no, it’s out of warranty. I simply sent them the link to Australian consumer laws, and the relevant section. Explained that their crazy expensive flagship laptop has an expected life of longer than a year, and definitely longer than 2, and they simply agreed and sent out a courier to pick up the laptop. They fixed it free, as they should have. Their warranty is artificially low.
People just need to flex on these corporations. We have the law in our favour.
