I always thought, for long distance trucking the trailers tend to sit around a lot longer than the truck, waiting to be unloaded then waiting to be loaded again. Put batteries in the trailer. Charge them while it’s waiting. That way the truck can be more efficient with only enough battery to go from trailer to trailer.
