Why would I go to a [bad] theater to watch a movie I want to see?

If theaters actually had rules and upheld them I’d start going again.

Some do. Find and go to those.

Have separate showings for “silent rooms” or something where talking and being loud is actively banned, a phone being on gets you kicked out, and just lets me watch the movie and I’ll be there.

That’s is literally every good theater.

Until then, I have an OLED screen, a nice sound system, and a large comfortable couch with tons of popcorn at home. I’d rather watch it there.

They need to offer better than what you can have at home. They absolutely exist. I hope you find one.
