So im in a almost weekly dnd 5e group but i feel like i need something more to do in my personal time. Im considering trying solo but im used to being in a group and not by myself, and i feel like i cant get creative enough to play solo.

I recently found a book (as seen in image above) and im not sure if i should try it or if there are better solutions?

What would you advise?

    There is SoloDark. It’s a single player rule book modifying ShadowDark to play on your own.

    Both links are to free offical PDFs.
    ShadowDark is more or less a massively simplified and streamlined form of 5e. As someone who’s thought D&D has been an over bloated mess for a long time, I love it. Though I haven’t tried the Solo version.
