I can’t find any that recognize “Album Artist”.
Even ones that claim they’re for serous music collectors and curators.
It strikes me as kind of insane this is such a rare feature in local music players. Am I that much of a werido that there only 3 players I can use at all, none on FDroid? It annoys because some have great looking, nice interface. But my collection looks like a disorganized insane mess with them.

Haven’t tried it, but Metro claims to have album artist support
It does!
Hasn’t been updated in a couple years. But I’ll use it for a while.
