It’s been forever since I saw this film, time to go watch it again.

If you haven’t heard the soundtrack it is really good!

When the Cure concert came around last year they played Burn from the Crow soundtrack, one of my favorites.

I’d say that track and the “Dead Souls” cover by Nine Inch Nails are my favorites.

The Crow was one of THE defining movies of the 90s. I don’t think it was overhyped. In fact, it perfectly captured the spirit of that peculiar year 1994 when it looked like the 80s would shift into the next gear, with everybody wearing “Souled Out” clothes, listening to the Cult’s “Witch” and either ogling or trying to imitate Fairuza Balk.
Then along came 1995, everybody went online, lipsticks turned from dark red to “flesh” and a new page, if not a new chapter in history began.

My wife and I watched it on Devil’s Night (Halloween) last year. We were worried that it wouldn’t have aged well, but it totally holds up - at least for people who were young adults when it originally came out. It’s a great movie.

Yeah, great film with an awesome soundtrack. I’ve owned it on VHS and DVD, but I never got around to the Blu-ray. To fix that, it’ll probably be the next 4k i pick up.

I remember hating it at the time. It was all hyped up around the death of Brandon Lee and didn’t live up to the hype. Everyone I talked to back then said the regretted going to see it. It wasn’t a bad movie, but the marketing was just terrible.
