I’m finally getting around to playing through the series and I’m wondering if the side games are worth it or if I shouldn’t stick to the numbered instalments.
I wish I could play these again for the first time. Uncharted 2 was mind blowing to me. I bought the PS2 for the train level. The story, the combat, and the puzzles…it was like playing Indiana Jones. Enjoy!
PS…the first one kinda sucks.
Only the Naughty Dog ones which I think is just Lost Legacy.
How far are you into the main games? I finished the first one not too long ago and it was a bit of a slog to get passed some of the fighting areas due to the number of enemy sponges. I’m hoping that improves in the rest of the series.
I’m only a few chapters into the first one and I’m having a similar experience, but I’ve heard they get better as they go. I’m gonna power through them regardless as they’re basically the only Naughtydog games I haven’t played.
I tried playing these games for the first time a few weeks ago and I gotta say: 1-3 aged like milk. Most praise for those games is just nostalgia / there wasn’t anything else like it at the time
I recommend skipping straight to 4. If you’re strapped for time, skip to Lost Legacy which takes place right before 4’s epilogue.
Those games are fairly self contained except for a few references here and there. Hope this helps
I played through 1-3 again recently. Two is still amazing. The others are OK.
Yeah, I thought 2 was better than 4, and had more fun playing the first two Tomb Raider reboot games than 4. Found the gameplay with the weapon variety such as bows more fun. Aside from being a graphical spectacle I didn’t find UC4 that amazing in story either. I preferred Lost Legacy to UC4.
- Uncharted 1, even though it doesn’t hold up that good.
- Uncharted 2
- Uncharted 3
- Uncharted 4
- Uncharted: The Lost legacy is definitely worth it
If you’re asking about the Golden Abyss for PS Vita, don’t bother.
Enjoy! You won’t regret it, I LOVE Uncharted
