Going to a PeerTube home page feels like a weird mix of Interdimensional Cable and very early YouTube.
Discoverability is almost 0 and I can’t easily find any videos that I’d like to watch, as you said. I assume most people would leave once they see what’s on the home page.
It’s probably cause most instance owners disable global search to avoid having to moderate too much. Taking as owner of own PeerTube instance. About LBRY it’s great project I have been working with it for a long time. Thing that I liked about it is that we have actual content distribution server in opposite of PeerTube where most time video is being stored on single server.
