Danelo Cavalcante, the convicted killer who escaped from a Pennsylvania prison, was seen overnight Saturday, according to state police, who said the fugitive had “changed his appearance” as the manhunt enters its 11th day.

“He is now clean-shaven and wearing a yellow or green hooded sweatshirt, black baseball cap, green prison pants, and white shoes,” Pennsylvania State Police said in a statement early Sunday, adding he was spotted in northern Chester County near Phoenixville, roughly 25 miles northeast of the county prison from which he escaped on August 31.

Cavalcante, 34, is also said to be driving a 2020 white Ford Transit van with Pennsylvania plates and a refrigeration unit on top, according to police. The van had been reported stolen by a local dairy farm, the Chester County District Attorney’s Office said.

Changes everything but his prison pants.
    “How’d they find me?”

Stuck out to me too but fuck, how do you steal a new pair of pants without attracting attention? At least if you get picked up from stealing a car you’d be like, “well, I gave it my best effort”. But if you get nabbed cause you grabbed a pair of pants from the local Montgomery Ward that’d suck.

        Yeah that is tough.
First though, I would start by not stabbing a women 38 times to death in front of her two kids. And then go from there.

Jesus christ. 38 times? Excessive and cruel. Damn, and those kids too - what hope of normalcy could they have now?

“Nearly 400 officers have joined the round-the-clock search operation for Cavalcante, who was captured in surveillance footage fleeing Chester County Prison by “crab walking” between two walls in an exercise yard, placing his hands on one wall and his feet on another and shimmying out of view. Cavalcante then ran across a roof, scaled another fence and got through razor wire, the prison’s acting warden said.“

    This can’t be real.

To be fair, it’s an excruciatingly difficult task that only gets exponentially harder as time goes on.

I don’t think implants would be necessary.

Can’t we just put ankle bracelets on them?

Never. This guy is a fucking murderous psychopath who stabbed his girlfriend 38 times in front of her children and he’s a wanted murderer in Brazil.

Cheer for a guy whose crime didn’t end someone else’s life.
