I’m on the same Voyager version, but tapping the picture just gives me the picture with no text.
I took a screenshot, but I can’t see a way to embed it - never mind, closing my keyboard gave me the image, attachment, and formatting options back. The screenshot should be here:

I’ve seen that a few times on other posts. If there’s text in the body already, the alt text has been separated, but I don’t think there’s a standard yet
I’m using Voyager, and I can’t see any alt text. Long pressing does nothing, and obviously I can’t hover on mobile.
Tap on the picture, you’ll see it on the bottom. Tap on that text area and the rest will show.
Formatting seems all goofed up, but it works.
My opinion on the meme aside.
Nope. Tapping the picture just opens it with no text here. Voyager on Android.

I see it. I’d report it to the dev, would be good for them to know why it isn’t working for you.
Yeah, it’s a bit odd, this image is showing for me, but others that I’ve tried to embed in the same way haven’t shown up in the past.
