    Reddit referred me to Lemmy just like Digg referred me to Reddit and Slashdot to Digg

      For me the chain is similar but longer.

      Fidonet BBS’s -> Internet Newsgroups over NNTP -> Slashdot -> Digg -> Reddit -> Fediverse
