There are also new features coming to Shorts. YouTube Shorts are getting longer. Starting on October 15, you can create Shorts that are up to 3 minutes...

TL;DR they’re going to be 3 minutes rather than 1

A few months after that they’ll release YouTube quix or something. Up to 45 second videos! Then extend shorts to 6 min, quix to 2.5 min, then add YouTube micros! Videos up to 25 seconds! Brilliant!
