If he gets the usage Beal got 2 years ago it wouldn’t be that ridiculous. 23 attempts per game would get him close, assuming he gets back to his 2020-2022 eFG%

Unless he learns how to use his gravity more and has teammates that give him that Curry levels of succ on the enemy team’s defense he aint doing that shit any time soon lol.

There are so many guys far more likely. The winner of the scoring title is usually a star on a playoff team. To get 30 PPG you gotta be a star, it rarely just happens on shit ass teams.

This 100%. You have to go all the way back to '84-'85 to find a season scoring leader from a team that didn’t make the playoffs, when Bernard King led the league in scoring and Knicks finished 24-58.

All of which are HoFers, at first glance anyway. Will Poole become the first scoring titleholder to not be in the HoF? The answer is no. And not because he’ll win a scoring title and reach the HoF lol.

Technically Steph led and didn’t make the playoffs. Though they did have the 8th best record so still the same as all years prior to the play in

It’s pre-season and Poole isn’t facing focused defensive pressure. He will be a focal point for defenses this year.
