How do you like the Fossils? I know that people there don’t like them very much but I find some of their designs really nice.

I like them quite a bit. They did have cosmetic issues happen over time, like the applied indices on the dial coming off, but I bought them back when Fossil had an 11-yr warranty, so it was covered by them.

The timekeeping has been fantastic; I’ve had them for about 15 years with no issues.

I quite enjoy my Fossil watches. They’re over a 15 years old, back when I was young and Fossil was my perceived belief in quality.

I know better now, but I definitely enjoy owning and wearing them to this day 😜

I like that your style is not safe. If there were some blind dating show and the concept was picking a partner based on their watch, I would swipe left on this collection. But it’s probably one of those situations where you come out behind the curtain and I regret rejecting you…
But also, what the heck am I talking about? There is no such show and we’re probably just a couple middle aged dudes and why did I bring dating into this? What’s wrong with me? A lot.
Anyways… your watches look different, and I guess that’s refreshing.
Also Ketamine…be careful out there folks; shit’s powerful.

Also, you tried too hard in compiling this to make yourself sound witty and spontaneous.

I find it troubling that you saw that post and thought “he’s really trying to be witty here…”
I get the thinly veiled insult, I just think it says more about you than some word jumble I composed while fucked up.

I just got the same Vaer in 36 and I am super satisfied. It delivers everything I was looking for in a tool watch.

You’re a traditional American guy, probably 30s or right below / above, you like the idea of being self-made and want to give the impression of having enough money to have a respectable appearance, you equate more complicated watches with money, and you buy most of these in person at a retail location.

You like to explore the finer things without actually paying the price to get deep in them, and you aren’t afraid to rock riskier, louder looks.

You are a white male who makes around 40-60K a year and appreciate more budget minded timepieces. You research watches online and read reviews of them before purchasing them. You got the memo to make sure your collection is colorful and not monotone. You’ve been known to get laid on occasion but not because of your watch choices.
