Teams in preseason are averaging 7 steals and 4.5 blocks per game right now. The Celtics starters got 10 steals and 5 blocks by themselves last night. Adding Porzingis is a big help offensively, but moving White to the starting lineup and adding Jrue Holiday might have even more impact when you consider all the points they are generating off turnovers.

By NBA dot com are 11th in NBA teams for steals per game. Teams aren’t averaging 7 steals, there are only two teams averaging less than 7 steals per game and it’s the Pacers/Heat both with 6.
