I have had the setting called “use address book photos” disabled for weeks, but signal still seems to load pictures from my address book for signal users without PFP, any way to stop this behaviour?
Wiped the app’s data, didn’t work. Also tried reinstalling but that didn’t help either. I’m guessing this is intended behaviour then?
I’m sure it’s intended behavior.
The images are loaded once then just used for that contact from then on.
You might be able to go convo to convo in Signal, and change or delete each avatar individually.
