I’m not the biggest Harden fan, but this is a ridiculous take. Harden was a one man offense with incredible efficiency in Houston. Poole is a streaky shooter and a minus on defense. Plus, it remains to be seen if Poole can live alongside Kuzma and lead an offense as the main ball handler.

Harden maximized rolling centers such as Capella during his tenure in Houston. From what I’ve seen of Poole in Golden State, he was sloppy with the ball and running a pick n roll was not his strong suit.
