I understand that teams in these contracts are paying for future production, not past production. If I’m going to give you like $100M, I’d like to have some past production. Patrick Williams has done some stuff, but like that’s just… if that’s the number, if that ends up being true and the Vassell deal ends up being the comp that his agents go to, that’s a lot of cheese.

Starting about 32 minutes into The Lowe Post.

    P will pros and cons

    Pros:

    Has a high 3% pt

Can get a decent midrange shot up pretty much whenever he wants

    Is incredibly athletic

    Seems like a good dude

Good at both individual and help defense

You can make an argument he has more potential while not being the 4th option and while not being on a garbage franchise like the bulls

    Cons:

His 3 point shot is slow

His handle/drive/finishing around the rim isn’t very good

    Doesn’t draw free throws

Very disappointing rebounder for his size and athleticism

Does not appear to have that dog in him

Let’s just trade P Will for Dre Hunter. Exact same pros and cons, maybe they will change with new teams?

      Summary: this guy stinks!

He hasn’t shown a thing to justify being more than a 4th option, and this bulls team is a decent enough team but not that great. The only team he’d be a higher option on is a wizards tier tanking team.

I still think he’s a 3 playing the 4 and that’s a problem. With DeMar, Zach, and Vooch needing the ball idk how Pat is supposed to get into a true rhythm. Hopefully this year he can step up and demand the ball.

Yeah and Billy doesn’t give him much leeway as is let alone run plays to put him in position to score, especially when he has a smaller defender on him which happens often. Of course it’s also on him not being as aggressive and demanding the ball in those situations but considering how iso/ mid 3 dependent the bulls have been it’s clear they just weren’t looking for him to be the scorer lot of fans want him to be. It’s definitely a weird situation and it’s clear at this point if he wants it he’s gotta get it for himself no more excuses.
