I think this is a take we can all agree on. As. A big NBA fan, I just want watch a lot of fun basketball games. Wemby could probably take a team to the playoffs this year with how bad the East is.

He is a freak and the East is seriously lacking in talent and excitement. Most of the fun teams in the nba rn are in the west. And it’s not even like there is more young talent out East. The wizards/hornets/bulls/pistons/nets have no path towards contention for the foreseeable future.

Honestly I’m glad he went to the Spurs because I feel like Pop is the best person to actually know how to use him based on his experience with Duncan. As a Clippers fan, I will hate seeing him destroy us, but as a fan of the game you love to see talent come to fruition and I hope that happens here.

If they sucked a little more he would’ve ended up in Charlotte. No offense to the city but that franchise doesn’t deserve him. Of the recent bottom feeders San Antonio was the best case scenario.

Its pretty much consensus opinion that he ended up in the perfect situation for him. He’s being handled by one of the best developmental teams in the league and is playing under the GOAT coach. That alone makes it great for the NBA.

Isn’t a chance in hell he’s taking a team to the playoffs he just hit locked up by Jabari smith Jr and jaesean Tate last night.

Jabari didn’t even look that good he probably made 2 or 3 jumpers when the team was actually trying but scored a lot when the bench and 3rd stringers were in. IDT jaesean tate even played good I remember keldon clamping him up more than anything

He had 20, and both him and tate were locking Victor up. Rate isn’t really an offensive threat.

I disagree. I love seeing the West being as stacked as it is and it’s true that probably all 15 West teams could make the play-in in the East, which is incredibly impressive and notable. I love seeing the West being this stacked because it creates rivalry and competition which is the lifeblood of the sport from an entertainment perspective.
