I’ve been through a shit ton of ups and downs over several generations of players and incarnations of teams. I’ve never seen anyone of Jo’s talent level and ilk receive this type of hate/disrespect. Really? You weren’t around for LeBron and The Decision? 100 times worse than what people shitting on Embiid right now. Russell Westbrook got the exact same treatment as Embiid after he won his MVP on “empty stats”. Harden=literally Hitler etc etc.
It’s just flavour of the month. It is funny that Embiid campaigned for the MVP(not as much as people say he did, but he still did campaign for it a little), and then he got owned in the playoffs.

I’m not a Sixers fan. I’ll give you this, I agree Embiid is way better than what /r/nba gives him credit for obviously. He 100% deserved his MVP, although it could have gone to either him, Jokic or Giannis. Jokic sat the last 6 out of 8 games which sealed the deal. People just seem to forget that.
But man… it’s just fucking funny that he shat the bed in the playoffs. Don’t take it so seriously. People will forget and move on to the next guy to clown on.
