It makes the most sense for him to go to spurs to continue the narrative of pop developing international big men into superstars and what not. I guess the nba realised him going anywhere else was not gonna be too good for him as well as the viewership so i think even though it was decided way beforehand he was going there, I think ultimately it was a good decision but I just hope that the rigging stops just at times like this and doesn’t trickle down into matches but Sadly I think that it’s inevitable

Honestly I can’t stand top talent going to shit franchises that don’t know how to develop them and keep them out of trouble.

Zion wouldn’t be doing the shit he’s doing if he was with a competent franchise.

The only time I genuinely felt the draft was rigged when Chicago got D Rose and when the Cavs got Wiggins which allowed Lebron to build his super team.

so the league got in contact with lebron who told them he was going back to cleveland and made sure to give the cavs wiggins so they could trade him for another star? 60 IQ take

I think it was rigged as well, but I’m genuinely happy he ended up on the Spurs. There was only 1 other team that I wanted him to go to and I’m really happy with who they drafted as well.

When you have crazy conspiracy theory takes like this, youre just confirming that youre very uneducated on how the league and drafting process works.

Rigging the draft would be nearly impossible in todays social media age. the league does the draft lottery odds behind closed doors, but with every owner available and media members/reporters present. For it to be rigged you would need all 30 owners to agree that the Spurs will get the number 1 pick, and what incentive would they have to do that? Why would the other small market teams agree to lose out on millions in revenue and a franchise changing draft prospect?

And of course the reporters would never miss out on a opportunity of a lifetime to expose that the draft is rigged.

" I guess the nba realised him going anywhere else was not gonna be too good for him as well as the viewership"

This is the dumbest shit ive ever heard, the idea that a business would sacrifice more viewership for what reason?

Conspiracy theory lunatics continue to have zero evidence to back up there absurd claims
