Was there a moment you got ridiculed or downvoted to hell for stating your opinion or prediction at first, but later got vindicated despite the majority disagreeing with you? If you could even share the link to your comment, that would be awesome.

RJ Barrett was a mediocre athlete and didn’t have the finesse or shiftiness to make up for it. He just looked clunky as fuck. He had no right hand. He was shooting 30% from 3 and 66% from the FT line. And the worst part was this dude was jacking up shots like there was no tomorrow even with Zion on his team. I had no idea how he was projected to be a star.

        Lol what ?

With RJ there were no ‘hopes or dream’. This kid has been mid, is now mid, and probably will forever be middling talent. The shots Ive seen this kid take when he was in Duke made part of my humanity die.

This was me with Cam. The second I saw that he couldn’t hit all the open shots defenses were giving him off of Zion’s gravity, I didn’t see how he was living up to his high school hype.

i think the thing with cam is that he had a core injury and he played more as a point forward in high school so the injury + role change was why he wasn’t hitting those shots. his jumper is beautiful but he obviously didn’t pan out

I agree he hasn’t lived up to his hype, but he’s going into his first season off the rookie contract. How early is too early to say “I was right”? Feel like he could just as easily make a leap this year as anyone.

He was the 3rd overall pick and has been the 3rd/4th best player in that draft, he was objectively a no-brainer pick

He isn’t better than any of Zion, Ja, Garland, Claxton, Johnson, Hachimura, Herro, Clarke, Washington, Williams or Poole; I dont think you’re understanding the gravity of being bottom of the league efficient while playing behind an all NBA level forward and all star level guard. Honestly I wouldn’t even take RJ on the Magic before Mann or Nassir Little
