Believing your legacy is set is an essential part of any good tank commander’s mindset. He’s ready.

They most likely do. He was a liability in the finals. He wasnt needed to beat the non contendersnin the west

JP played less and less bc of defense as the playoffs went on, but he was good in the 16 minutes he’d get vs the Celtics because his shotmaking was on fire.

Basically did what an ideal 6th man should do

Steph did a lot that postseason even klay was meh in the finals. Wiggins was their second best player which I guess adds to the steph legacy for that season

People don’t wanna admit it but draymond was kinda ass in the finals, He had some good moments no doubt but it was honestly Steph/Wiggins/Poole/Looney in the first 4-5 games, Shit even tho Klay didn’t have the best performance he still had way more crucial shots to help them when they was down.

He averaged 13 points in the Finals while being a liability on defense. His only good series was round 1. Don’t act like 50+ other players could have taken his place and GSW gets the same result.

What do you find absurd? Literally all he said is that winning a ring and being financially set means he can focus on enjoying his work.

Basketball media is crazy now. Poole’s focused on the upcoming season, someone asks him what he thinks about being in Washington, he answers “Yeah I like it here, already got a ring, got paid, gunna play ball” probably with the same level of thought as if you asked what he wants for lunch that day

Some random journalist puts out a 2,000 word essay of Jordan Poole legacy quotes and then social media talks about how he’s just a bus rider

I don’t think his legacy is “taken care of”. He can go down as a guy that peaked for a season or two and never lived up to that. Or he could a star player the Warriors regret letting go. Or anywhere in between.

It’s like you still have 10 good years to go maybe even more, if you think your legacy is good with a ring you won 2 years ago you are saying you don’t want to win no more, because somehow winning a ring with warriors is enough for you
