If you wanted to purchase a brand that you could possibly pass down (e.g to your kids), which would you go for? Thanks in advance !
Why is Hamilton seen a step up from Tissot?
Ham
It can send Morse Codes through time and space and shit.
If it’s good enough for Cooper, it’s good enough for me.
Seiko NH35 movement is one of the most proven in this tier according to many. Got to mention G-Shock too.
Hamilton or Seiko
Seiko. Why are there so many of these threads
For Hamilton I wouldn’t be sure. I have Tissot Gentelman auto and powermatic 80 is based on the same ETA movement that Hamiltons H10 is. That movement is factory lazer regulated, meaning it is very difficult if not impossible to regulate its accuracy. I’m not sure does that affect longevity, but I feel like it’s worth mentioning.
Skip Hamilton if it doesn’t have a regular ETA or Sellita movement.
Tissot has been good for me.
how much abuse will they take only a few have tested this out. What if you wore a watch everyday for 20 years and it’s still worked great. Not uncommon
Seiko, even less than 500 lol
