I’m looking for a new daily wear / beater. I’ve had a couple that I have really enjoyed. Luminox, Wenger, Citizen. Looking for a dive or field watch. Something I can put a few miles on above and below the surface. Automatic preferably, but not against quartz.

    That’s a pretty wide price range with a ton of options. For a beater, I’d be inclined to stay closer to the cheap end of the range. My top choice would be an Orient Kamasu. 200M water resistance, decent movement, sapphire crystal. 335 from orient or dealers (sometimes on sale). More like 200 on the grey market. Second choice would be a seiko turtle. 200m resistance, decent movement, killer lume, but mineral crystal. Haven’t priced lately, but probably around 400 bucks. The orient has better specs, but I think the turtle looks cooler
