    I really want to see the ratio of goals conceded from defensive third passing errors over time. Pep really tricked the PL into adopting a style that really only works if you have 11 starting center backs.

    Tottenham really needs to pray that Korea gets knocked out early in the Asian Cup. Worst case scenario for Spurs is Korea going all the way to the finals (which is likely based on the quality of their current squad, but then again, their coach is Klinsmann, so chance of early exit is definitely there) and Son getting injured in that match.

    If this was Rashford, he’d hit the defender or hit it straight at the goalkeeper.

      With Son, you know that he’s going to curl it in, but you don’t know whether he’s going to shoot it or cut inside first to create more space as he’s capable of doing both. Also, there aren’t any unnecessary extra touches. Get the ball, cut inside to create space, boom.

      With Rashford, we don’t know what he’s going to do. In that situation, he’s as likely to run to the left (most likely blocked by the 2 defenders) as he is to shoot with power and blocked or cut inside then shoot with power or make another few unnecessary touches. Now that I think about it, has Rashford scored with a curler?

      In the second goal as well, if it was Rashford and Bruno, Rashford would probably ignore Bruno and go for goal himself and Bruno will moan if the shot misses or gets blocked.
