Do contacts really matter? If this Dame situation went side ways, would anyone be shocked if he asked for a trade?
What matters is how happy your star is. Signing a supermax or extension means nothing considering the number of all NBA players who been traded the last 4 years after signing up. KD literally demanded a trade like 6 months after extension.
That being said, Bucks did the right thing by going above and beyond for Giannis, and yet there is no guarantee
After the last couple of years, does anyone think a big name player signing a contract means the player is committed to the team? They are clearly able to force themselves off a team.
Bill still thinks Giannis is leaving to the Knicks lol
It’s been Giannis or Embid.
Best they can do is neither :)
The Giannis that just today signed a 3 year extension to stay in Milwaukee? Or a different Giannis
tbf, a new deal hasn’t stopped literally anybody the last 5 years asking out immediately
I mean dudes sign contracts and ask for trades near immediately not infrequently
You think that’s happening here
Even though the news came out today let’s all assume Bill still thinks this
yannis pappas
Giannis Versace

The Giannis that made the corny “a lot of fucking money” comment just to sign a couple weeks later

He has not really been banging the drum on this. He mentioned it as a possibility before the Dame trade.
Yeah that’s never been one of his things… this sub’s weird hate boner for bill is so funny
To be fair, so do all NYK fans
uuuuuh no we fuckin don’t???
(It’s Embiid now buddy)
First priority should be extended Iman. He’s the future
