I’d move the wolves down to 6 seed and move warriors ahead of the mavs and maybe even the kings (feels like warriors are a bit underrated by r/nba and wolves overrated).

In the regular season I like to lean more towards the younger teams, I just don’t think GS will be healthy enough and the west is stacked.

Bit of hopium with the Hornets just to say I told you so when we get blasted in the play in, A lot lower on defensive teams (BKN,TOR,MIA) because it’s a lot easier to win Regular season games when you aren’t handicapped into holding teams under like 105, and lower on Older clubs gearing towards the playoffs (MIL, think the laziness catches up to GS this year), Guess I’ll be camping when I’m way off on the west

Semi-hot take: one of Boston or Milwaukee will not be a 1 or 2 seed (but will still have HCA in round 1).

I think Cleveland has potential to be a really good regular season team.

        ???

You can complain/have questions about Celtics in playoffs, but this team is a regular season juggernaut…

Milwaukee is the team that’s likely to not be a 1/2 seed due to defense and the fact that they will rest Dame/Giannis a certain amount of games.

not a fan of Memphis either but they’re too much of a good RS team to be the 10 seed

They don’t have Ja for 25% of the season and are losing their starting center, their second best player is a PF who can’t rebound. It’s gonna be a struggle.

Ja missed 21 games last year and Adams was out for half the season and they were still the 2 seed at 51 wins. similar injury concerns can be found with the Clippers and they’re a more refined team than Mavs/Thunder.

Exactly Bane JJJ Clarke JA and Adams all missed over 20 games last season and the Grizzlies STILL ended up being the 2 seed.

I mean this year they have to start without Ja, Adams and Clarke + Tyus Jones, who was a big reason why the Grizzlies were able to be good without Ja, left.

I don’t believe that Smart and Bane will be able to carry that offense at a high level and when the west is so deep every little thing like this can hurt a team a lot.

Tbh I think the Steven Adams loss is going to be even more detrimental than Ja, we’ve already seen the team maintain their record when Ja’s injured but no one to replace Adams’ role kind of like GS with Steph and Draymond

The West is so stacked. Beyond the Suns, Nuggets, and Lakers, everyone is in a jumbled-up mess. Love it.
