James Harden Update:
Harden’s return is uncertain because he’s tending to his mom who is ill, I’m told.
The mindset of the 76ers PG is that the health of his mother comes first.
“He’s going through it,” a source with knowledge shares.
“He loves to compete & he is in the best shape of his life. But he feels a sense of betrayal from Philly.”
That betrayal apparently stems from the Harden publicly calling Sixers team President Daryl Morey “a liar.”
Per a source: “Hopefully he returns, but family comes first.”
From what I’ve seen it seems like his mother has cancer, she seems to be treated in Houston which is why Harden has been going there every time he gets the chance to in the last few months.
Still kinda weird how the Sixers FO was instantly putting him in a bad light by pushing news about him not showing up to camp, while they didn’t even knew the reason yet.
