I want to buy a minimalist field watch with an inner rotating bezel such as the Boldr Expedition. However, it is out of my budget. Are there any watches which are similar and available at a lower price?
I would love any advice on this.
It’s technically a diver, but the Spinnaker Bradner on leather kind of has a similar look

Not that similar but the Elliot Brown Canfords have a rotating inner bezel which is silky smooth.
Dive watches with the inner bezel are commonly called compressor style watches (even though most of them now are not true compressor watches). Some examples at the budget end are the Phoibos Eagle Ray and Dan Henry 1970.
Lüm-Tec D -series could be an option.
Don’t know how it fits your budget, but an Alpinist has to be in the running.
Just as an FYI, I love the look of the inner rotating bezel, but the freely spinning crowns (as most seem to be) which controls them drives me mad. Far too easy to get knocked out of position. If anyone has recommendations of watches – of any style – with a rotating inner bezel that can be “locked” in place, please share!
