Even by NBA standards, a Clippers home game is sensory overload. There are strobe lights and more dance teams than a high school drill competition. A conveyer belt of once-famous rappers pass through the arena, the latest of whom was Xzibit. The T-shirt cannon could become the franchise’s first Hall of Famer.

    ouch

Realistically he is being asked the most of any of the rookies. HE is asked to run point for a team of trade leftovers and PG is probably the hardest role for rookies to play in the NBA just because every PG is good and the game is just different.

The last good rookie point guards were Lamelo and Haliburton, and before that it was a whole too.

LaMelo also had a stinker of a first game. 0 pts, 0-5 FG. Ended up as Rookie of the Year regardless

Yes, his ongoing struggles for 48 whole minutes. The Blazers drafted the wrong guy! Thanks Bill.

Quick reminder for NBA fans not acclimated to the Portland market (most of you will not be)

Portland’s home writers are, for the most part, just giant pimples. Big, ruddy, shiny whiteheads always angry and ready to burst. It’s a long, long line of Oregonian endorsed pusbags, (Dwight Jaynes - Jason Quick - John Canzano - this smirking cock ‘n’ balls) and Oram is simply the latest in that line (which is a downward trending line, not surprisingly).

If you can avoid linking him, it would be much obliged.
