I just got my new s12 pros and the earhooks seem significantly smaller than any unboxing video I’ve seen (except the official one, 5 months ago) these earhooks have a sharp turn immediately after the 2 pin connector, making it very uncomfortable to wear. Is this is an official change or should I return it?

The stock cable sucks and is very uncomfortable, I replaced mine with this:

I kinda don’t get it. aren’t the plugs meant to go in on the topside of the IEM?
it looks like these cables have an additional bend that makes it seem like the cable would go in the bottom of the IEM.

I hate the stock cable, so much so I didn’t use them that much anymore, they were so uncomfortable. After getting tripowin zonies for them they are my daily driver when out and about and I absolutely love them.
I indeed had the same issue as yourself, I just took a hairdryer to it and bent it back a bit for a nicer fit
