I’ve never seen a sub be so ready and happy to call a player a bust. There’s been an insane amount of posts dedicated to begin the narrative. Here are some stats of other young franchise players for context:

Paolo 52.9% TS 20.0 PPG 6.9REB 3.7AST - Rookie season

Cade 50.4% TS 18.0 PPG 5.6REB 5.7AST - Rookie season + 12 games

Jalen 54.0% TS 19.8 PPG 3.5REB 3.2AST - 2 seasons

I’m not saying that Jalen is objectively better than the other 2 and one of his main issues is inconsistency so he has a lot to prove this year to show he contributes to winning.

But the narrative is all over the place across these three players all of whom have not really won a lot except for Paolo and the Magic who had a good but not great season last year.

Paolo is generational ROY (48 Ringer Top 100), Cade is an incredible talent (57 in Ringer top 100), Jalen Green absolute bust not even top a top 100 player waste of space.
