After watching the close game with the 76ers and how Giannis had an off night for his standards with 23 and 12 but still effective and active on defense and Dame took over and closed the game with 39 with khris middleton playing less than 20 minutes. Pretty impressive and shows the East and the rest of the league how scary this duo can be. Remember this was game 1 and Dame caught fire and Giannis was able to naturally defer. As a Bucks fan and NBA fan I’m hype for this duo this season.
I wouldn’t say Giannis naturally deferred but yes this is the entire reason Bucks needed Dame. Especially in closing out the game, something Giannis will never be able to do in his career.
