Kawhi hooks significantly worse than this. Tobi clearly hasn’t watched tape cause this baseline spin is patented by Giannis

Pretty awesome play by Giannis. Look at the defensive gravity he has. Middleton is cutting wide open with Beauchamp open in the corner.

Everyone hooks. Everyone pushes off. Everyone hand checks. It’s like holding in football. Shit happens every play, that’s why players react like they do when it’s called. Because it literally happens every play

Giannis is a beast but he has some of the worst footwork and post moves of all time. Everything he does is botched and brute-forced and 90% of the time an offensive foul.

Gets views though so oh well. The NBA is a trash product.

Definitely not a travel. His feet is off the ground only while the ball also is (mid dribble).

If this a travel every “running with the ball” (with live dribble) is. It’s clearly not a travel, footwork was ideal.

Whats happening on top was not. First Harris shoves him which is a foul and then Antetokounmpo grabs his shorts which is also a foul . The refs let them both slide.

Giannis haters only see his foul and Sixers haters only see Harris’ shove. They are both wrong, they both fouled and refs let it.

The left was his pivot and he lift it.

It was a travel and the footwork was messy, but I guess in this day and age even this can be considered ideal footwork in the NBA.

Yeah you’re right. He lifts his pivot foot, his left foot, before dribbling. So on top of everything else that I said, the play is a travel from the start.

Lifting the pivot is never a travel. Going down to it is.

Not in this day and age nor in any day and age from the 1980s on…

Everybody hooks now because they rarely call it.

What is frustrating is when they do call it. Not because it’s a foul or not but because why tf don’t you call it every time then?

Nba refereeing is one of the most inconsistent in any sport.
