Im really surprised this is so popular. Its a 43 mm, 51 lug to lug diver with 51 ghosts randomly on the dial? I dont get it

Why don’t we compare it to the Fifty Fathoms which the design is inspired by… There is a 40.3mm, a 42.3mm and a 45mm version. I would say that this watch fits purely in the middle of the actual Blancpain dimensions and I don’t think you need to compare it to any other diver imo…

I wear watches from 36 mm to 42, I dont have a problem with the size. But on this sub there are so many bitching about oversized divers that Im surprised this one sold out so quick. I guess theres a silent majority

It is a joke “pun intended” inpired from the “fifty phatoms” by blancpain. Honestly i think it is funny and clever. The also made the Pain blanc,it is in french and it mean white bread, another of their “pun intended” watch

It’s a hype watch. Cute kitschy theme, limited edition. You’ll see flippers hocking them on ebay and /r/Watchexchange soon after release for an inflated price.

I’m sure plenty of people who bought it did so with the intention to keep it, but plenty of others try to capitalize on other people’s FOMO when these kind of limited release watches come out.
